Bahamas!!

So I have the best husband in the world!! I never thought I would get to do much traveling in my life, but I've been pretty lucky thus far. Tim and I went to the Bahamas for my birthday and it was so much fun!! I would reccomend the Atlanis resort to anyone!! It was so beautiful and there was so much to do. Our favorite was all the water activities. Swimming, lazy river, tons of water slides, and the beach. We swam with the dolphins too, it was awesome! It was so nice to be able to sleep in, and just hang out in our room too! Did some shopping, but can't go into what I bought because a certain someone reads my blog and she can't know what I got her!! :) Sorry shelb have to wait until Christmas. Although I had fun I was really wanting to get home to my babies!! We didn't have cell service down there so I didn't get to talk to them for 5 days. They were just fine though thanks to my wonderful family who took care of them while we were gone. When we got home on Friday we headed to Jackson Hole for our annual Brendle weekend. I must say I think our family is outgrowing the condo! We just added two more little girls to the bunch and they are so dang cute! It seemed there was always someone crying, (mostly my little one). Lots of fun though, looking for elk, eating lots of food, being lazy, playing games, and making watches! It's good to be home, even if I came home to a ginormous pile of laundry and snow this morning :) Here are some pics from our vacation.

Preschool Already?!?

My little boy isn't so little anymore. Yesterday was his first day of preschool, and he couldn't have been more excited! He is so cute, for some reason he thought he was going to get to ride the bus to school, and we had to explain that mom would have to take him instead. He goes to Red Apple Preschool and his teacher is Miss Jeanie. I was a little nervous dropping him off because he was kind of clingging to me and I was afraid he was going to have a meltdown when I tried to leave. He was ok once he saw the big bucket of horses and the train table. I was pretty proud of myself too, I didn't shed one tear. I think I will actually enjoy the couple of hours alone with Kyler. Well here is a picture of my little guy all ready to go to school. I LOVE YOU BUDDY!

Summer Fun, Kitchen Decorating, and Kyler's Birthday!

We have had a lot of fun this summer, even though I haven't blogged about it. Ya know how it can get real busy, or you just forget about it... Anyway I'm finally getting around to doing it :)
Near the end of July, my sister-in-law Cyndee had her sweet baby Khloee!! Tim was able to get a few days off so we headed down to Layton to see her and her cute little family! You truly do forget how little those newborns can be. Especially when you haven't had a newborn less than 7 lbs 11 oz. Khloee is the sweetest little girl. I LOVE the newborn stage, so fun to snuggle. Also while we were in Utah we took Bowen on his first train ride!! He was sooooo excited! We hopped on the Frontrunner and went from Layton to Ogden to the train museum. I must admit, it wasn't all that exciting to me, but getting to watch Bowen and listen to his little squeals of excitement at everything he was seeing was so fun.

We also got to visit with some of my little cousins from Las Vegas Jordan, Amber and also Brittany and Taylor. All of them are such cute little girls, well not so little anymore, crazy how old they are now. We had a lot of fun playing outside, and eating grandma's yummy food and playing Monopoly. Here are some pics from our intense game :) Another fun thing we did was take Jordan and Amber to Shoshone Falls. It was great because Shelb and Mark and the kids, and Sarah met us there. The falls were so pretty! They had a little park there too that the little ones could play on. It was Sarah's birthday so we went to Applebees after to celebrate :)
One of my favorite people!
I Love You Too Sarah!!
All the grandkids except Carson, Jade, and Saber
Dallas and Mark (love the look on Dallas's face!)
So Pretty!
Shoshone Falls It took me two years of being in this house, but I finally got to paint and decorate my kitchen. I love the red barn stars, so I chose that as my theme. I found some really cute border in The Country House catalog, and found colors to go with it. My grandma is the queen in our family at decorating, so she was nice enough to come and help me. I don't have any before pics, but it was just plain white walls. This is the after...
Excuse the mess!
And the last thing I wanted to include in this post was that my baby boy turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. It really is strange to me that he is 1 already! It seemed like it took forever for Bowen to turn 1, and with Kyler it seems like yesterday I was in the hospital having him. Haven't taken him to his 1 yr. checkup yet so not sure where he is at with weight and height, I know he likes his food though!! He is off baby food and formula and what a relief to my grocery bill! He is so much fun and has such a cute personality! I love that he still likes to snuggle with me, because Bowen pretty much wants nothing to do with me unless he needs food :( Here are some pics from his birthday. He loved his cake.
