Kyler's Baby Blessing

Yesterday we had Kyler's baby blessing and it went so well. Tim did such a good job blessing our baby boy. I was so glad to have all of our family there, especially glad to have my mom and brothers and grandparents there so that they could feel the spirit, I hope they did. After the blessing we had a BBQ and the weather didn't really cooperate with our plans so we had to move things inside. My house isn't really big enough to accomodate 25 people but we made it work. I hope everyone had a good time, I thought it went great. Here are some pics from the day.

Nothing Better than Family

I've been very fortunate to be able to spend lots of time with family latlely!! I say fortunate because I have the best family in the world, others may argue but thats ok! The first to come and visit us was my dad from California I haven't seen him since May and it was very good to see him! Then the boys and I went with my dad to visit my sisters in Twin Falls and Boise. It was a lot of fun, but my sister and I learned what having two two-year olds and a 4 month old and a month old would be like. By the second day we were very glad to just have two children each :) We did lots of shopping and lots of eating and just spending time with each other, it was great! It's really hard to say goodbye to my dad when he has to leave, we all really miss him and he is so far away! It is the worst part of the visit.

The following week my sister Shelb from Boise and her two little ones, Dallas and Addisyn, came to visit and go to the fair while it was here. We also had our cousins and aunt from Las Vegas come to stay at my grandmas. Shelbey helped me out so much with the baby while still taking care of her own kids, she is amazing! It was like she would never sit down, even when kids were all fed and asleep she was then doing my dishes, or picking up toys! She has so much energy, I don't get it! No wonder she is so skinny :) I got to see my other sister Sarah too, not for very long but it was good to see her! I won't get to see my sissy's again until Halloween, hopefully the next month goes fast, I wish we lived closer so our kids could grow up together and play more often. I miss you already Shelb!! I Love A Sleeping Baby

The first few weeks since Kyler came into this world he was the absolute perfect baby, slept pretty much all the time, and was just so sweet. Well he is still so sweet, but the sleeping thing isn't happening so much anymore. About two days ago he started being a little fussy and not sleeping as easy. I'm hoping it was just because he wasn't getting enough to eat, but for the past two nights I have been up with him from 4- 7 AM, the kid just doesn't have any interest in going back to sleep during those hours I guess.

Well after much rocking, swinging, and walking him around I finally got him to go to sleep yesterday afternoon. I had to take these pics he looked so cute!

Bowen doesn't let his little brother get too far from his sight, as you can see, he had to be almost on top of him while he played with his cars.

Yes with both of them, it is amazing seeing them for the 1st time, and you are just so happy to be done with labor!! - Who cut the cord? Tim -Where was the baby born? Boys Will Be Boys!

About a week ago, shortly after we got home and settled with the baby, Bowen was obviously bored out of his mind! So Tim decided to let him go and play outside in the backyard. I was taking a bath, and all of a sudden I hear water running in the backyard. I thought maybe Tim had gone outside with Bowen to water the garden or something so I paid no attention to it. When I got out of the bath and saw Tim on the couch I thought ok I better check on him.... THIS IS WHAT I FOUND!!

Oh, baby.. cute (that is what he says) Kyler's favorite thing to do... sleep Oh my goodness he is awake Well so far so good with baby Kyler. He is such a good baby! He sleeps pretty much all day and even pretty good during the night. Bowen loves his little brother and he is such a good helper. It's still hard to belive that I am the mommy of two beautiful little boys and I am so grateful for the family that I have been blessed with.

Baby is Here

Hey everyone! So yes the baby is finally here. I had a Dr. appt. on Wed. and I was dialated to a 4, but not having contractions, so we made the decision to go in at 1 PM and be induced. I must say I LOVED my entire experience at Mountain View Hospital! The staff was amazing, and my epidural worked wonders! I was in labor from about 2 PM and started pushing at about 8 PM, and 24 minutes later we had our little baby. He weighed 7 pounds 11 oz.and was 19 inches long, a little smaller than Bowen but not by much :) Things went very well, and obviously I am already home! So far he is such a good baby, and we couldn't be happier! Thank you for all the congratulations we really appreciate it!
