Bowen loves to play with his cousins Taylor and Kaidence! They came over for a little bit tonight and played football with Tim and played in the yard. Everything was going good until Taylor and Bowen collided and Bowen ended up with a bloody nose. He's pretty tough though, even when he sees blood. He only cried for about 3 secs. and then was over it. So here are some pics of that and also some people have been bugging me for some belly pics :), so here are some pics, I haven't really been keeping up very well, there are only 3 pics, but you get the idea :)

FuN iN tHe SuN!!

Sunday it was hot enough we thought Bowen would have fun in his little pool. Tim and I went outside with him and watched him play and splash and have such a good time. We also got some good weed picking time in ( I know so much fun...) but at least the yard looks a little better. Our garden is making progress, I was so excited to see that the corn is starting to grow!! YUMMY! Bowen is also becoming quite the pro on his power wheel 4-wheeler, he really cruises on that thing, and it's so fun to watch him on it. Here are some pics from our fun Sunday afternoon :)

Now that it is finally nice enough for Bowen to go out, we have been letting him go outside a lot lately. He loves to play on his dirt hill with his trucks and get all dirty. He also loves our dog Bella, and I think she loves him too! She follows him around everywhere, it's so cute. We also planted a garden for the first year. We planted pumpkins, watermelons, cantalope, carrots, cucumbers, and corn. Neither one of us really like tomatoes so we left those out. So here are some pics of our garden before, and then I"ll post some once things start growing. Here are some more pics :)

My Favorite Show!!

Well I'm so excited that my favorite show is back on!! I love So You Think You Can Dance! So I think I'm going to post my favorite dance from each show. This week I loved Katee and Joshua's routine to "No Air", it was soooo good. Hip Hop is my favorite type of dance it reminds me so much of Broncadettes and makes me want to get up and dance with them. So here is my favorite dance from last week's show. Bowen is now 2 1/2 and I can't believe it! I can still remember bringing him home from the hospital and just staring at him in awe of how cute he was. Nowadays I spend my time chasing after him and cleaning up his many messes. One thing has stayed the same, I love him soooooooo much!!!! Well I have new pics of him that my sister-in-law Misty took, she does such a good job! Here they are, enjoy! :)

Memorial Weekend

Well we had a fun weekend! Mark, Shelb, Dallas and Addi came home and we all stayed at my mom's house. On Friday night mom made Mexican chicken lasagna which is one of my favorite home cooked meals, we also had a little get together with some of our family friends for Shelbey and Katie's birthday.

Saturday we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and just to hang out. Sarah came home from Twin after she got off work. I love going to grandma's because it always feels so cozy, which makes it hard to leave!

And lastly on Sunday we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's for a BBQ and to celebrate Shelbey, my mom's and my cousin Cheryl's birthdays. Bowen was sick, or he is developing allergies, which surprisingly didn't keep him from having a good time with his cousin Dallas. Before dinner we all went outside to play croquet. Bowen and Dallas were very excited to play with the sticks and hit the balls. It was fun watching them. I wish we all lived a little closer so we could be together more often! When dinner and dessert were over with we decided to get the boys ready for bed. I just had finished dressing Bowen in his PJ's, and I let him up to go play, when I hear, "oh my gosh Bowen!" Bowen had decided to help himself to some cake, and just went in with his hands and had it everywhere!

Well the weekend was great except Tim couldn't be there for any of it because of his demanding work schedule lately! Closing shifts 5 nights a week. It seems whenever there is a family function work always gets in the way and it's usually just me and Bowen that attend. I wish things were different right now, but I am blessed to have a husband that works so hard to support his family! I am very grateful for him. :)
