WOW! What a Christmas!!

First things first, hope everyone had a VERY Merry Christmas!! We had a lot of fun this year with Bowen :) He is 3 now and he better understands Santa and what he does for Christmas. So this year we started traditions for our little family. On Christmas Eve we just stayed home all day, we wrapped presents, watched Christmas movies, and made cookies for Santa :) It was so nice. Then Christmas morning came... Bowen was soooo excited to wake up and see all the presents under the tree, and he had the highest squealy voice, saying "WOW MOM LOOK!" each time he opened a present. I loved it!Of course just like every year... Tim knew every single gift he was getting, right down to what was in his stocking! (If you didn't know, I can not keep presents a secret and he knew early November what I was getting him). Well I take it back I did manage to keep his Nike wallet a secret. Yay me! :(

As for my gifts, Christmas morning I was kind of dissapointed... not at my gifts, but because there were no surprises! (Also if you didn't know, Tim is the best at surprising me, one christmas he did 12 days of christmas with a new gift everyday, then last year he had this big box of nothing until I got to the bottom of all the plastic bags he crammed in there, and found a gift certificate for us to Destinations Inn :) He is so cute that way!) He kept giving me a hard time all day saying, "I"m so sorry you had such a bad Christmas," ya know just making me feel bad. We went to my Grandma's for Christmas dinner, and a bunch of us were all outside playing in the snow. I came back in and here comes Bowen with a present that said To: Danielle From: Your boys... I was very very confused, and was thinking what is going on here??? I opened it to find a GORGEOUS NEW wedding ring!!! WOW!!! I still can't believe he did that! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! He always seems to out do himself, just when I think I have it good, it just gets better!

All About Kyler

I noticed that I haven't really blogged much about my youngest, so here we go. :) Kyler is now almost 5 months old and is getting bigger by the day. He was sick last week so we had to take him to the Dr. and he weighed 14 pounds. He is for the most part a happy baby. I tried giving him cereal when he turned 4 months, but he didn't do well with it, so I guess I'm going to wait until he is 6 months. He is really starting to show his little personality, and I love to see him smile. Just yesterday he rolled over from belly to back, so he is a little behind Bowen. I know I know I shouldn't compare them, I try not to. He is so much fun and he is sooooo ticklish! Here is a video, I am barely touching his arms and he cracks up!

And well I have to put one of Bowen on here. His Aunt Misty went to Disneyland a while back and brought him back some Mickey ears. Now that we have Dish, he loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney, so now he likes to wear the ears while he watches it. It's cute!

Turkey Day 2008

Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone and they just keep getting better. Shelb and her family came from Boise and got to stay a whole week! It was great, so I packed me and the boys up and we went and stayed at Grandma Searle's for a week with them. Bowen and Dallas are getting much better at getting along, oh don't get me wrong they still had there share of screamin' but things were better. Addi is getting so big and is full of personality! Kyler is still the smallest and everyone just likes to snuggle with him. He turned 4 months on the 30th, so I started him on cereal, he seems to like it. Well we had a lot of fun playing games, eating, playing with the kids, and more eating... Needless to say I can't wait for my elliptical to get here so I can work off these excess pounds before Christmas :)

We had a surprise this Thanksgiving though, my mom, sisters, and I usually get up and dare to shop the early bird black Friday sales, well this year my grandpa and brother decided they were going to join us, we all thought they were kidding. They weren't, sure enough we were all ready to go and here comes grandpa and John. They were our chauffeurs to each store. They actually even came in a few stores with us. It was so much fun. I was after a TV that Tim wanted so we started at Walmart at 4:30 AM and I could not believe that they were already all gone, people waiting with their purses on top of the TV's because you could not actually buy them until 5 AM. So I was on to the next place selling them, Merlin's. John was nice enough to stand in line with me at 7:30 AM. I lucked out and was the 23rd person in line so I got a free gas card and the LAST TV. So we are now the proud owners of a 50 inch plasma!!! We shopped and shopped, can't believe it but we shopped until 3:00 PM, and as soon as we all got back in the car we were asleep! Thanks to grandma for keeping all the kids so we could go.

We also had a small combined bday party for Bowen and Dallas. Bowen's bday was yesterday and Dallas's is the 22nd of November. Shelb had the cutest idea for some cupcakes that looked like monkeys.

Over the break I also got to see my old roomates and best friends Monica, Elsha, and Sarah. I miss those girls so much so it was really good to get to go to lunch and spend a little time with them. Wish we could have hung out all day. Can't wait til Christmas so we can see each other again.

I love this time of year, only 3 more weeks and we all get to see each other again for a week!!! Can't wait!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY BOWEN!!
